A winter visit to the Great Wall of China

A winter visit to the Great Wall of China

Traveling as frequently as I do can make relationships difficult, however, I have been experimenting with some social media widgets and have been most happy with the cool features offered by Facebook for both my Blackberry Pearl mobile phone and my iPod Touch. I’ve been able to keep up with friends while traveling halfway around the world by updating and reading friend status, uploading pics from my trips and even posting info on my “wall” about my experiences. I’ve had excellent coverage on my Blackberry and since I have Unlimited International Media Package with AT&T, it is not costing me anything to communicate via Facebook. So check it out if you are traveling and need to keep in touch with friends, family and co-workers.

Couple doing the Tango in Argentina

Couple doing the Tango in Argentina

Trying to find a great postcard is getting harder and harder. Now you can use your own post card perfect pictures to create printed postcards of your travels as well as other events and announcements.

Check out http://www.send-postcards.com/.

The prices are low. The cost of a simple postcard with your color photo and message, including postage and delivery is only 1.90 euros (about $3 USD). The company operates 24/7 and the postcards are delivered within 7-10 days anywhere in the world.

They are all postmarked from Germany which will look odd if you are traveling in China and send a card, but it is the photo and message that counts anyway. Enjoy!!
